“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” –Walt Disney
Aloha! My name is Nicole Costa, and throughout my teaching career, I have taught Kindergarten, Second, Fifth and currently Third grade. I am a proud alumni of the University of Texas at El Paso, and I hold a bachelor’s in Education and a Bilingual certification.
Milam Elementary is a wonderful campus. The culture around this campus is a delightful diversity of people. Most of the students are from military families and it is a wonderful experience learning about military life and how to help the children acclimate to their new school and city. Every child is creative and it is my passion to motivate each child to strive to be the best they can be. It is my belief that all children are gifted, they need only the right tools to unlock their talents. Being an educator enable’s me to help shape the future.
One way we can contribute to a child's future, is motivate children to attend a University. Milam Elementary is part of the No Excuses University Network. An organization that inspires all children to attend a University. Throughout the school year the students are informed daily on the many Universities available to them, this year 3A has adopted the University of Hawaii at Manoa. This program enables the students to understand the necessity for higher learning, providing them with an avenue in which they can pursue their dreams for a better tomorrow.
I look forward to meeting you and your child and making this year one that is filled with the love of learning.
Mahalo! (Thank You!)
